Flash Forward Jam 2025 er Newgrounds’ femte årlige konkurrence for nye Flash-spil og interaktive film.
Indsendelser skal være fungerende SWF-filer, testet via Ruffle, uden kopieret materiale eller uautoriseret musik.
Deadline for publicering med tag “Flash-Forward-2025” er 20. april, med opfordring til at udgive den 6. april som jubilæumsaktivitet.
Spilpræmier: 1. plads $1200, 2. plads $700, 3. plads $400, 4. plads $150, 5. plads $75; interaktive film: 1. plads $150, 2. plads $100, 3. plads $50.
Præmiepuljen finansieres gennem crowdfunding via Newgrounds Supporter-donationer og sponsorbidrag.
Ny API-integration: introduktion af Flash-komponenter til Newgrounds.io via ActionScript-2.0-bibliotek og forbedret Ruffle-understøttelse.
AS2/AS3-udvikling støttes af tutorials fra JackSmack, mtv129 og Newgrounds Wiki.
Andre NG-begivenheder omfatter 30-års jubilæumscollabs for lyd og kunst.
